    Imported texture turned pink.

    Hey guys, I have just imported a texture that is 1024x1024 and .png format but it has imported wrong. This hasn't happened to me before and I am not sure what I have done to cause this:

    The left is the original texture and the right is the way it turned out in UDK when I imported it.



    Is there a solution to this or have I just imported it wrong?

    Does it still look pink when you use it in a material and apply it to a mesh? What you are seeing happens to me with texture with an alpha channel but they work fine.

        Weird then. Try to import as .tga and see what that does.

          In photoshop go to "Image--Mode" and make sure its set to RGB 8 bits/channel
