    How do I create a collision box/mesh in 3ds max

    Hey guys


    How do I create a collision box in 3ds max? I've searched alot on google but all the tutorials assume you already know how to create the collision boxes themselves. I don't know how.

    Can someone tell me?

    Create the boxes like you would any normal mesh, and if your mesh is named for example, "MyMesh", then you would name your collision meshes "UCX_MyMesh_01", "UCX_MyMesh_02", etc. export them all together in the same FBX file and it should carry over to UDK as collisions.

    Keep in mind that the collisions need to be convex shapes, so I recommend just using multiple cubes that are shaped as close as you can make them to the actual mesh to avoid problems.
