    [SOLVED] Smoothing Groups Error

I'm having an issue with smoothing groups on one of my models. When imported without smoothing groups, it looks fine (except the blocky appearance obviously). However, when imported with smoothing groups it looks like...
^That. Does anybody have an idea of what happened?
    Extra information:
    0 STL Errors
    ‎6716 Polygons
    Exported with 3ds Max
Smoothing groups 1-6 on various parts

If any additional information is needed, let me know. Please help D:

Looks like you have set everything to the same smoothing group. You need to set up so that all seperate smooth surfaces are different smoothing groups.

(Though it shouldn't be THAT black, but that's more likely a lighting issue.)

Well, I've built my map with production lighting + lightmass and the issue is still present. I used autoselect smoothing groups which normally works fine, will I have to manually apply smoothing groups to a 6716 poly model?

I found the issue. The normals were being produced on import rather than preserving them from the export. Just had to change one option and now it's working beautifully!
