After i posted this topic i discovered that they have "limited time" offer since february. So lets hope this will be limited time for half a year or more. In other words its old news like everything on internets nowadays. And heya.

Yeah, I was noticing the 'limited' time offer has been ongoing, too. It could still end at any time, so get yer licenses and download that software while you still can!

Bryce is still a good tool to use to create convincing terrain height maps. All the modifiers it has, like erode and mounds, are really useful in turning a simple brush stroke into a giant mountain range. The skys created in Bryce are also extremely impressive and we can render them out and use them as skys in Unreal.
