Learn to modelise a character

Hi, I would like to know if someone know an internet course to learn to model a character for my project or if someone can teach it to me? I learn really quick. I am only able to model static item and to texture them and I would like to go to the next step.

Google character modeling tutorials?

If you use 3ds max, this helped me out long ago:
http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials...c/joanmenu.php (note that turbosmooth/meshsmooth is not effective for videogame models, but it will teach you the ideas behind organic shapes and topography)

There should be many more useful ones on that site.
