    [solved] Blender --> UDK Lightmap for Characters(SkelMesh) ?

    Hello Community,

    I'm asking myself if it is possible or needed to have a LightmapUV for SkeletalMeshes.
    For StaticMeshes I know how to do it and that it's an advantage, but for SkelMeshes ?

    If it is usefull to have a LightmapUV for SkeletalMeshes let me know pls.

    for skel meshes you need only one UV set
    you can use additional UVs if you need for example UV set for some other texture but that is up to you

    lets say you use some nice UV set for your main texture but you need some other UV set for some effect (lets say you are trying to add some "TV lines" on it)
    then you could use another UVs that use lets say frontal projection

    but yea, only one UV is what you need for Skeletal meshes
