    3ds imported model texture problems

    Hello. I am currently building a game and need some help. I make my models in Sketchup and then import them into 3DS Max so I can UV unwrap them. I then export the model as .FBX and import into UDK and I get this.



    Now I have exported from Sketchup to UDK via .FBX and everthing is ok except I have no UV's. I have also tried using UDK's built in generate UV's but I just a mess of UV's and black walls.

    Any help would be greatly received as I really want to complete my game I have great ideas and me and my friend have made lots of models that all need UV mapping but they all turn out like that

    let me get this straight, are you trying to say that 3ds max failed or something else, and im sure how well .fbx go into udk. but try saving them as .ARE i think it is.

      It's ok I managed to fix it. I was my export setting from Sketchup that caused the problems but thanks for your reply.
