    texturing custom model.

I'm having trouble to texture my own model in the UDK. I already got it as a static mesh in my game. It's a very basic model, yet I do not see how i can get a good UWV material on it. I've created an UWV map in max but I dont know how to use it in the UDK, nor can i found tutorials about it. Could you guys please point me in the right direction?

The UWV (sorry about the big img, no idea how to make it smaller):

First you need to stich those sides togeter then you need to render to texture and use UV like a guide in Photoshop or other similar program , there is ton of tutorials on web how to Unwarp meshes.
    Here is one simple http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOWTaUmvsO4

Hello there! I'll give you a crash course over texturing and Unrwapping a custom model if you'd like. PM a picture of an example object you'd like me to create and I'll make a little tutorial for you and others on how I would make it. I'll cover the modeling, unwrapping, and texture creation in 3-4 videos for you. I think more tutorials and things like this are needed for this community. Just respond if you'd like that, and I'll get to work on it tomorrow night. Thanks, John.

EDIT*If you need a more in detail tutorial or just a new better tutorial just tell me.
And one more thing, instead of [IMG] [/IMG] tags use [SHOT] [SHOT] tags.
