    Smoothing Groups on mesh in max - before or after unwrapping UV?

    Quick question as above... Does it matter which way round you do this? At the moment i'm unwrapping and creating both channel UV maps and then autosmoothing 0 degrees?

    Its only important to set "right" if you bake normalmaps and exporting to the engine.
