    Free 3D models

Due to magaupload being taken down other ways of distribution are being considered. Please check back shortly.

hiya Joseph, everyone is interested in free low-poly models, especially textured.

    people
    vehicles
    weapons
    buildings
    street accessories
    interior accessories

What Ur suggesting is definitely a good way to get a nextgen portfolio together. Perhaps uploading Ur content to one of the many big sites offering free models might be an option too, to spread Ur content around. Another option might be to contribute to current projects (like mine, feel free to PM me ;D) in the 'help wanted' section.

I would stick with secondary objects. Cans, bottles, pizza boxes, cardboard boxes, crates, fences, mailboxes, books, papers, shelves, lamps etc etc etc... You get the idea.

Not only will you be able to pump those out in short order but stuff like that doesn't weight as heavily on the style the developers might have.

These are coming together nicely. Don't see any seams or noticeable errors.

I also like the style of detail you've chosen for it's simplicity. They could easily look fancy and modern or dirty and medieval with little modification.

Thank you Max power it was my goal to create something that could be easily changed or customized depending on peoples needs glad you like it.

(Edit) Question what do i need to include when I upload my models, The materiel, and the maps for it, normal, difffuse etc... or just the material?

Those items were actually exactly what I have been looking for. I'm trying to piece a small house together. How long did it take you to create them?

Dvoyles, modeling each one took between 20 to 40 minutes, texturing unwrapping about an hour a piece.
