Ok so on my models in Maya i do my UV maping and all and get the materials where i want them, then in the UV editor screen i click Image and Create PSD network, cause i am exporting my textures into Photoshop then to UDK. But once i get them into udk, you can see the UV lines all over the mesh i created, any tips on how to fix this? or is it something im doing wrong or what?

in Photoshop, when you create the second layer, you can also set the UVMap layer to 'screen' so that you can see it through your texture layer.

yes, it's for 3ds Max but it's very short and what dave42UK describes, the Photoshop part, is done very clearly.
