Hello all! I was wondering if there is a good texturing program that isn't too difficult to learn. A lot of my friends say Photoshop CS4 which i have, but i can't find any decent texturing tutorials out there that are thorough and simple to follow. If anyone knows how to texture in Photoshop really well, can you please send me a step-by-step tutorial on where to begin. I hope this isn't too much to ask and thanks for your time guys.---Nick

It really is too much to ask. With search engines, youtube, DVDs, online community, and so forth just readily availible to anyone willing to put in a few minutes to just look themselves. Nevertheless, http://wiki.polycount.com/TexturingTutorials

Unfortunately this doesn't really help and I've already been on Polycount and the tutorials still don't answer my question. It's not like i came onto these forums asking questions before even doing research. I've done the research, but i can't seem to find anything relatively helpful. All I'm asking is if you have the time to write up a quick step-by-step photoshop/Zbrush texturing tutorial I'd really appreciate it.--Nick

If you've already read/watched all of the tutorials on Google and you're having issues, let us know exactly which part you're having trouble with. That would be doable.
If you really need that much help, here's a book on Photoshop:

And, here's one for ZBrush:
