Surface Properties for imported static meshes?

    Greets.

For my imported static mesh, ATM I edit mesh properties and use the LOD to <- assign any texture currently selected in the content browser - but how do I SCALE, ROTATE, and move it around (just as we can in the Surface Properties for walls, floors, etc)?

    Thanks.

NB. As yet I havent figured out how to properly UVMap or custom skin yet, but will get there eventually. I am not very 3D-adept atm unfortunately.

It doesn't work like that for static meshes. You have to edit the material of the static mesh, or move the UV's on the UV map.

In material editor, play around with texture coordinate, texture panner and texture rotator nodes.

Thanks, I will try that. Also, is there a nice "intro-101" to UV Mapping for UDK meshes anywhere? Preferably via Truespace :P
