Autodesk resources are your best bet for starting. These crash course is what I started with and got me up to speed quickly.

    Starting to learn 3DS Max

Hey eveyone! Longtime watcher or projects and fairly new member.

So i just got my 6 month college student version of 3DS max and i was wondering if the pros here could give me any clues as to where the best place to start learning would be, other than a book unfortunately, im broke as it is haha.

I plan on using the autodesk site but was just wondering where another good place to start would be.

My main goal right now is to learn how to model static mesh's and possibely venture into character and weapon modeling once ive actually learned how to use it effectively since im going into this crazy learning project knowing nothing.

Anyone cheers, hope to hear back off to have a cig while waiting for it to download.
