    Gun Bones and script

    Hi, I was looking around and didnt find out how the bone setup for guns is. I have both 3ds max and maya so either one is good. Also, is there a tut somewhere for scripting the weapon "Specifically" for UDK because im tired of looking at tuts and things are different because they are using UT3

    you do it the same why as in UT3, you just use the UDK code as a base, unless you don't want to use the UTGame code then you'll have a lot to learn

      The only thing that would really be any different from UT3 would be the directories, the exact same principles, concepts and literal code apply absent a few extreme circumstances that you shouldn't encounter if you're starting out (a few default properties changes and small stuff like that). If you want to become more familiar with UDK directories (they're easier) there's quite a few script tutorials that'll get you started. Go watch geodav's stuff
