Okay... Maybe someone here could help with this one.
Let's say that someone wants to follow the UDK pre-fixed measurement for some reason.
So we know that a char is about 96 units height and that 1uus is 1 unit in max and that 1uus = 2cm. So I set my max in 2cm per unit because I prefer to work based on metrics. So far so good.
So,
I made a test-cube 5 x 5 x 5 meters and exported it as .ASE.
When I import it directly into udk it looks as if it is 2,5 meters.
BUT!...
If I export the file in .3ds format and reimport it back in MAX and re-export it as ase ... that's when it finally appears as 5 meters in udk...
Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong here? This drives me nuts.
I use 3d studio max 10 and the latest udk version.
