UDK Simple Desert Scene - Process and a quick guid

    5. The 5th image in the middle is a combination of them all and a 2 min touch up - definitely not representative final product or a render.
    No specular has been made, generally it is not needed for game dev.

    I rendered with NVIDIA mental ray. No lights sources in the scene. I haven't seen anyone use a light source for these tutorials so i Didn't know i needed any, do i need any, if so what ones?
    The normal map is a scanline default render

    p.s.
    i don't like hijacking this thread, but it definitely shows your willing to help people. And that's what this community needs
