    Staticmesh creating ugly shadow heightmap

    In this red marked section a static mesh is cutting through a height map (lighting only mode).
    That shadow that appears is on the heightmap and looks ugly.
    The other surrounding meshes, which are much smaller, don't cause this behaviour.
    Any idea, how I can change how this behaves?
    It would look better if the same shadow was on the mesh as well, not just on the heightmap, and if both were less dense.

    Your lightmap resolution is too low, the smaller objects are too small for their shadow to appear but the larger object has a shadow, because the lightmap is so low resolution it's showing up as a blob
