    HUGE Foliage filled level optimization needed!!!

    So I have this huge (landscape) map. Only about 5% of it are filled with folliage and while playing I get like 15 FPS near the forrest/grass on my 4gb ram 2,8 Dual core processor and gtx 560 ti. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks! I can provide screenshots if needed.

    You have to set appropriate cluster radius and culling distance on foliage - i have posted screen here http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/...3#post31776533

      It also depends on how much vertices your foilage has -> keep it pretty low poly

        Well verticies don't mean that much as I said it's only 5%. There has to be some kind of streaming ://

          Culling does a lot. I think it's simillar to streaming. Are there ways to stream any object like this? Instead of grouping them within levels?
