Question: Compile lighting for parts of landscape.

    Hello,

I have a problem with compile lighting(lightmass) for landscape, I tried to move one component of landscape, to stream level, and compile only this level, because logically, it's consumes less RAM right? As it turns out, it's consume the same amount of RAM.

Is there any solution to compile landscape components one-by-one, not all at once? Because I don't have 16GB RAM for my landscape.

    Other information:

    Size: 1009x1009
    Section size: 64
    Section per component: 4

    My amount of RAM: 2GB.

Well 2GB RAM is not much. With other words .. you need a lot more RAM.
The minimum spec of the UDK is 2GB but i don't think it's recommended to compliment the light of a landscape with this little amount of RAM. I think it could work good with 4-6GB Ram but 8GB would be better. 2GB is really far too little
