Need help to resize terrain

I have created my terrain in udk 3 and want to export to 3ds max but in order for max to load the terrain I need it to be smaller. In udk the size is 1009x1009 and I need it to be 256x256 for max due to a lack in ram. Can this be done or do I need to use another program to resize it?

You can do that in the properties of the landscape -> press F4 - go to display - and there you can scale it up or down

Thank you for the response. That still didn't work but I got it figured it out. I just exported a heightmap and used World Machine to resize it. Then reload it in UDK and export as an .obj
