In my opinion a landscape size of 4033x4033 is big enough. When you plan the level very carefully, then it will feel much larger -> e.g mountains, valleys, ....

true story, can always build up. even if not a building, if you have to scale a mountain you can essentially make like a spiral staircase, conserve space and maximize play area.
