When you use a decal, you just have to create a material. Now you can easily place it into your level.
When you use a static mesh, then you have to create the mesh and the material. I think that the decal materials also have a better performance.

KnusperKeks repliedOk thank you for the fast answer. But where are the differences of using a decal or a picture mesh? :P

fighter5347 repliedEither you use a decal material:

or you could just place a "Picture mesh" directly onto the wall part. But I recommend you to use a decal material

Pictures (Sprites) on Walls
Hi, I know I have a very stupid question and I couldn´t find a solution for it. I made a level with all textures, etc. But it looks a little bit boring, so I want to add pictures/posters on the wall.
I have some photos for that, but I do not know how to add them to my level. If I drag-and-drop them from the Content Browser on my wall, the whole wall changes it´s textures.
Sorry for that question, but I am new to this :3
Thanks a lotTags: None
