    Stitching Terrain

    Hey Everyone,

I have a sort of general question regarding terrain and non symmetrical map design. I have a concept for a level that I'd like to make and the layout is not square. It sort of an L shape design. I'm wondering, can you take smaller square terrain pieces and stitch them together? In my case instead of having one giant square, cut the terrain into four smaller squares and then stitch them. What's the best way to go about something like this?

This image should help if your scratching your head:

The Terrain and Landscape actors are capable of rectangular dimensions.
It is easier just to make the Terrain or Landscape square (or rectangular).
And then hide the Terrain triangles or Landscape Components that are not being rendered.
It will be much easier to paint and layer if it is one actor.

Ok so just to clarify I should just make one 96x64 patch and hide the unneeded tris? Thanks for your reply!
