    Pickup/Drop objects and disabling when objects are clipping

    Hey guys new user to forums so forgive me if this has already been posted. I am trying to figure out how to disable the ability for the player to release an object that was picked up when it is clipping into the level or other objects. The game is 3rd person and I am using the attach to actor with the use trigger to bind objects to the player. I have 2 solutions I see that could be possible, but don't know how to do either or if they are possible.
    -My problem mostly comes from figuring out a way to tell the game when the picked up object is clipping.
    - I was also wondering if its possible to make a new collision volume or toggle between 2 separate collision volumes for the player picks up the object and that would solve the problem and prevent clipping entirely.
