    It affects only brushes, i guess it's something brush based error.

    Also, if you're using a post process that adjusts the lighting, I would turn down the brightness of the post process and increase the brightness of your actual lights, that way it will increase the shadow map range and hopefully look better.

    Are you talking about the blotchy shadows on the ground? If so then try increasing lightmap resolution.

    Shadow artifacts at dark areas

    Hey Folks!

    I'm trying to make a map that have some dark spots so it'll need flashlight or something but i have some weird shadow artifacts at these areas.



    -Builded with production light
    -Same look ingame (not from editor)
    -Floor is made with brush
    -Have dominantlight for moonlight
    -Static lighting intensity is 1, would be cool to lower it but these artifacts going to be more stronger if i do so
    -Texture boosts are on 1 too
    -Have no lights in the area of this part (it is under a stair)

    Any idea what cause these artifacts? I really need dark areas that looks good.
