    Level streaming limits?

    Hi everyone!

    Is there some limits to use level streaming technology or we can make any huge and completely seamless word?

    When part of level unloades - it completely removing RAM? It will be no lags with RAM if player will run many hours in huge seamless world?

    The level size is limited to roughly 10kmx10km with the default settings. At some point in 2012 Epic Games broke the level unloading system for UDK... so if you use a recent version the game will crash eventually. The early 2012 versions or before should be fine though. Anyway there is a thread about that problem already.

      So with last version UDK using global level streaming - bad idea?
