    Lighting problem- Help please! :)

Hello UDK! I have two slight problems that is bugging me and I can't seem to find a solution for it yet.. I know these are relatively easy to fix..

One deals with the dominate lighting there is light on the ground and threw out but my buildings are too dark on the outside.

The other one is, in my night sky dome there are some edges that you can clearly see and are not free flowing with clouds.

Make sure you have lightmap UVs for your objects and that you aren't using vertex lighting. Also, it's hard to tell what's causing the cloud problems without knowing how you are achieving the effect. Are you using cloud meshes, or is it in the material of the skydome, etc...?

Sorry, how do I figure out if I have vertex lighting enabled?

If you don't have lightmaps or lightmap UVs, you're using vertex lighting. Make sure in your second UV channel you have unique UVs laid out to be used for lightmaps. More on that here.
