    New to UDK, question on layer masks

    Hi all, I recently installed UDK for the first time in years, and got to work creating a map using world machine and UDK.

    I have imported the heightmap and applied a texture to the whole terain.

    The problem I am having is I nneed to be able to paint texture details by using data from a displacement map. Meaning I could render a mask from world machine to alpha all but the rocks for example and use that mask in UDK to restrict where a layer texture is painted over the whole terrain. Kind of automating the process.

    I know this will be possible somehow, I just can't figure it out.

    Also: is it possible to use the same technique to paint vegetation?
