    Blinding light

    How would I go about making a very bright omni-directional light that can blind a player when they look at it. I want to make an explosion emmit a very bright flash. How can this be done?

    Pretty sure you'd need a post processing material effect that you can script or use kismet to activate when the player has line of sight or is within a volume.

      As nabiul said a post process effect would help, for a start I would create a post process volume in the area that I want affected by the explosions light. Then just simply toggle it on when the explosion happens in kismet. Bloom will be important here. Id do that to start until I learned of some other things to help with the effect.
