darthviper107 repliedYou can place your static mesh as an Interpactor, and then you would be able to animate it with matinee. You could also attach a spotlight (Spotlight movable that way you can animate the light as well) Just do a search for matinee tutorials, animating an interpactor is very standard.

I'm trying to create a WW2 searchlight to go in the background of my level. At the moment though I'm not sure how to go about it. I've been told to use a Matinee kismet sequence, I've got a static mesh that I'm making very opaque as the actual light beam but I'm not sure how to go about it, how do I create the matinee for this??

Thanks
