    Landscape Texture Layer Causing Big Blank Patches

    Hi all. I`m having some serious issues with my landscape. It was going really well until I added my sixth material layer for roads. I can paint it everywhere.. expect for in my city.. which is the only place I need it. When I paint inside the city, huge patches lose all of their textures.



    If I paint back over the patches completely with any texture including the sixth one, the patches go away.


    I`m pretty sure that I have my material set up right.

    From what I recall reading, you can only have so many maps on a landscape. And specifically in that material editor window it says 12/12 which leads me to think you've exceeded the limit.

      You can't have more than 12 textures at a time in a single component.

        Can you do 12 textures? I thought that you could only use 10! Of course if you plan to go mobile then you can only use four layers or eight textures if I undeerstand things correctly with the new Nov 2012 bu
