I know this has been gone over many times but I feel its time to ask can we all share some shaders for oceans and water? Or can we have a few standard water shaders as part of the UDK? I simply don't have to to reinvent what a programmer can do for example what they have done with sea craft. I have a day job making games and deal enough with the tech stuff there but want to make some nice scenes with my free time.

The thing is, tessellation is horrible in UE3 at the moment, so you won't really get more than 15 fps if you use a material like that.Originally posted by pharna View PostComment

You can use this material without tessellation, and works with dx9 mode.Comment
