cascade making a light following a hand

Hey guys ,

I have a character that is punching , i could like when he punch that a light follow his hand to make something like a trainee , i tried to do this in cascade but the light is not trainee and it's popping only on a few stage of the punch animation

i used a playanimParticles , should i use a playAnimTrail to do that ?
