    Reflective material

    Hello,

    i watched/read serveral tutorials how to create a reflective material, but the problem is that they used an old udk build and i am not able to recreate this material because iam a complete beginner. ( never made any material or texture)

    iam sure that a reflective chome material is pretty easy to create , maybe you can tell me what i have to do if i want to create a very basic chome material ?

    I saw few forum posts about it, well my first suggestion is: never use reflective material on to your animated objects, this is just way to much calculations for PC, its much better if u use some texture and u can animate it course.Check this: M_TextureDefinedSpecularReflection in content browser , maybe u will get idea

        Are you looking for true refelctions, or could you go about using a cubemap?
