As the title suggests, the camera casts a shadow on objects when it gets close enough.
Presumably, as the camera casts a shadow when running the level with the DUMPMOVIE command to record video, it also casts a similar shadow in-game.
This doesn't show up in the editor and may have something to do with Cascaded Shadow Maps being used, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know what's the deal?

I'd post an image, but my PC is currently in the middle of said DUMPMOVIE command and I fear that I'd cause a meltdown if I start fiddling with bitmaps.
