    Wind effects on the new foliage system?

    On the older versions of UDK (before the foliage system) all you had to do was place the wind actor. That doesn't seem to do the trick anymore - is there a new way to pull it off?

      I don't know about actual wind direction and stuff, but somehow the grass static mesh in the udk foliage is animated, simulating wind.

        always use speedtree for that... all kinds of foilage, grass, ivy's, trees, bushes...

        may i ask why would u want to use a different approach?
