    Landscape Material

    I just started using the landscape editor. I noticed that when apply regular material from the UDK packages, It looks differntly and streched out. Is there supposed to be a special material for the landscape when applying it?

      Thanks for the quick reply. I still dont get the documentation. Lets say we are using :Material'ASC_Floor.BSP.Materials.M_ASC_Floor_BSP_ Tile01'. How would we make it so it can be applyed to the landscape. If you can please give me examples.

        You need to use TerrainLayerCoords expressions to control scale and tiling of textures with Landscape. That expression acts similarly to a TexCoords expression. You are probably best off recreating that material in a new material where you can add expressions without affecting anything currently using that material.

            Why the new material class? I never did quite grasp why a new material type was necessary.
