    Sphere Collision

I made a sphere in maya 2012, exported it to Unreal as a static mesh and I'm having trouble with the simplified sphere collision option in the static mesh editor. When I use the 26DOP simplified collision, the player collides fine. However, when using the simplified sphere collision, even though collision to set to block all, the player still moves through it. Also, with either option, if the mesh is very large, the player can move through it regardless. Can someone tell me what is going on? Thanks.

Did you scale it non-uniformly? If you do a non-uniform scale on a sphere collider it won't be spherical anymore and the collisions won't work.

I would recommend just modelling a custom collision model in maya, the 26-dop is not very efficient, nor very spherical compared to a custom model.

I did uniform scaling. I'll have to try to get more familiar with working with maya, tried that and got stuck attempting to figure how to cycle between the models. Thanks.
