    Lighting Build Crash issue

    Hello everyone,

    I am new to posting the on the forum but I have been using udk for about 8mnths now on my MFA thesis. Wish i would have started soon.

    Recently, I switched to the June Beta. Thus far the project is only an environment walk and haven't had issues upgrading to different betas. This week i added some new objects to the scene and need to redo the lighting. When I start the calculation on the exterior level it crashes at about 4 seconds everytime. At the bottom you can find the portions of the log file that happen right before the crash.

    I tested to see if it was the whole project or just portions of it. The interior level calculates fine as does the persistent level. Its only the exterior that crashes.

    This has also been tested on two rigs with the same results
    School - core i7, crossfired ATI's 1gb a piece, 12gb ram
    Mine - 2 2.66 quad core intel xeon 5430, Nvidia gtx 275 896mb, 8gbram

    Any thoughts would be much appreciated. I assume there is some object that is crashing it but i don't know how to trouble shoot for it.

    After searching the forum more I found this link http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=805087.
    The short answer is that if you do lighting on a landscape in the 64bit June version of UDK it will crash. The 32bit version is supposed to work still. I can’t confirm this personally but other in that link did.
