    speedtree problem

    hi people!

    i started using udk a few days ago and speedtree today (to set a scene i created in a game engine).

    si i created a tree, but when i export it in the UDK, the mesh isnt the same at all.

    in speedtree:

    what is the problem, and how do i solve it?

      Sorry i cant really help, but looks like from the UDK shot that the leaves you set on the level1 branches are not coming through. The other 2 layers that are connected straight to the trunk are. Maybe 1 step closer to solution.

        yea i figured that out. its the 3rd lvl of leaves (which are btw custom texture, maybe cos of this?). but thx !

            Follow this quick tutorial and you'll be set. I was able to follow along, and got it working in UDK very easily. Hope this helps you solve your issues.

              yep this is the tutorial i followed. and if you check my export parameters, you'll see it is the exact same. but thank you for answering!
