    "Endless" chase scene?

    Something like chase segments in the Sonic games?
    Like this.

    Easy, fake the movement.

    Move the things around the player instead of the player.

        If you say, have 2 ships chasing eachother in a straight line in space, you would have various planes with textures scrolling, maybe a mesh animated to pass by here and there such as comets and asteroids, and playing animations on the ships as if they were moving. The ships would technically stand still but it would look as if they were moving.

        Instead of having the actual movement, as that would be a ridiculously long level.

          You can do scrolling textures in Kismet? Like turn it off/on?
          And Maybe a trigger that would stop movement except for left or right?

                What's in the video. I want a section of the level to have that sort of chase scene. After a certain time, the section ends and it goes back to the level.
