    Maya 2012 and UDK

    I've been using Maya 2012 and I've managed to import a few meshes into UDK. When I import them into the content browser and into my level they lose their material properties and are rendered in the default greyish blue color. I was wondering if anyone knew which material types are supported by UDK and which types are recommended. I was considering reverting to 2011 so that I can use the ActorX and Axmesh plugins because they support a wider variety of file types which may be more compatible with the UDK. Any suggestions?
