I started my first level and created two platforms 2048x2048.

Then I created to pillars on the first one 256x256x512
and two pillars on the second one 128x128x256.

It looks like the player eye height is at about 128.

The bigger pillars seem too big and the smaller ones are more proportional to the player view.

I know that the scale of the world and object around the player will depend on the type of level it is, outdoor/indoor, but from your experience, how do you determine the environment scaling to make it look just right?

Also, do you guys mess with the player camera and movement (such as crouching and jumping ) to compensate for this?
