    Need Help With Landscape Material

Okay, I am trying to make an environmental world, that will feature a fully dynamic day/night system, a sky material that changes with the seasons, and a landscape material that also goes from grassy to muddy, to snowy, and everything.

Now, for the landscape material, I've made a it so my rock texture (the majority of the map) interpolates into a snow texture to simulate the season change. The only problem is that I can't make it change in Matinee. Does anybody have any idea how I could do this or if it is even possible?

    Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure if it will work for a landscape material, but for other objects you can create a Material Instance Actor that you can place in the world. This would point to your landscape material. Then in Matinee, you can add new tracks to adjust float or vector material parameters that are defined in the material itself. The sky material could be controlled via the same method.

That's exactly what i did, but it doesn't seem to work. The sky and everything else works perfectly, but the landscape doesn't. Anyway, thanks for the help.

The landscape creates dozens or hundreds of MICs to paint the layers on your landscape. If you hadn't noticed, your map files can get quite large depending on the size of your landscape. Like theDeadBook said, I don't think your idea's going to pan out. Like totally not possible.
