    Goodbye, Shadows.

    I have a question for everyone. After the lighting is built, my shadows completely disappear or turn amorphous.

    This is how they look in the engine before a lighting build:

    I'm only using default UDK models at the moment and SpeedTrees. Why would it be so fanciful in the preview and then not-so-much in the build?

    I'm using the April 2011 UDK engine. My lightmap settings are (I think) 1048 if I'm looking at the right spot. I'm sorry, I'm new to UDK!

    I'm guessing you haven't set your lightmap resolutions high enough, or your lightmap UV's aren't setup
