    Texturing the level

Greetings. I'm following the 3D buzz basic tutorial om udk level creation (http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/sv_showvideo.php?v=3850).
And I'm wondering how I texture my brush walls and floors differently.
The brushes are split but the texture applies to the whole face of the floor/wall. Thank you.

Not sure what your asking. You can apply materials to the individual faces of a brush by simply clicking that face and either dragging the material onto it or right clicking the face and selecting the material from the drop down menu. When using the second option, make sure the material is loaded and highlighted in your content browser.

I have a floor brush stretching through two rooms but it is split in the middle. Can I not apply different materials to eter side of the split or do i have to make two separate brushes for the floors in the different rooms?

        Hey!

As far as I know, one brush face can only have one texture on it. So you either need to split the brush in two or you need to make a texture that has both the floor in room one and the floor in room two and align that up within the brush.

Personally, I think it would be easier to just split the brush.

        Cheers!

This is somewhat embarrassing but i just forgot to build geometry after i split the brush. this is why the texture was applied to the whole face.
Thanks for the answers any way, this forum seem really friendly.
