    Import model whith materials

    Is it possible to import to UDK model with multiple material from 3dsmax? I imported model from ScetchUp to 3dsmax, but when I tried to import that model from 3dsmax to UDK (*.fbx or *.ase) none of proper material appeared. (in the case of *.fbx there was appeared material but it was just filled with monotone color)
    What did i do wrong?

    Yes it is possible. What you did wrong: you did not used search here on in googles.

        You have to use a Multi/Sub-Object material in 3ds Max in order to get multiple materials in UDK. Also, if I recall correctly, each sub-material in 3ds Max also needs to have a bitmap image applied to the diffuse map in order to export properly.

          Also check the format of your texture maps - make sure its a supported format. UDK doesn't support jpgs
