    Lightning Issue

    Hi!

    I have some problems with my lightning, as you can see on the pic, the quality of the light (reflection on the wall) is poor.

    I wanna know how can i solve this issue.

    If someone can help, that will be very appreciate!

    If thats BSP on the wall,then click on bsp and press f4,change the lightmap resolution,IF its a mesh go in the content broser,right click on the mesh and in the properties of the static mesh editor,look for lightmap resolution and pump it up too 64 or 512.

          Hm,then it could be bad UV mapping.If its a mesh.

            I think he means the specularity but I am only guessing, but if that is indeed the case if you are wanting it to be brighter or darker you have to multiply your spec image by something higher than 1 to make it brighter or anything underneath 1 to make it darker.

              He probably doesnt have a spec map.On his mesh shader.

                        humm... it is possible this kind of issue is due to a darker brightness in my skylight??

                          well,if you just have specual,it will show like a slashlight pointing at it,which is low quality,make a normal map of the diffuse texture,and put i t in there.

                            Well... that didn't change anything with a normal map...
                            The lightmap is set at 512 resolution...
                            The texture for the material is 4096x4096 samething in game mode...
                            And finaly the build lightning is set to high.

                            My Uvs lightmap uv seem to be OK.

                            I'm stuck :S

                              I think thats the way the light looks like beuacese the light is close to the wall causes a corona.
