    Reseting a Bool

    My question is how to reset a bool after a trigger event.

    The set up is basically an air lock, i don't want the player to be able to open the next door till the first door closes behind them. Works fine the first time through, but if the player goes back through them, it allows them to open the doors at the same time.

    Here's what i've got so far in kismet

    Bools are really popular. I'm guessing that's because of tutors. Have you considered using a GATE for this instead? It's much more intuitive for doors since a gate is a door for a sequence.

      No I didn't think to use that, I'll have to play around with it and see if i can get it to work that way.

        why in the bottom picture are you using unused?
        but in the top your using used for both?

        I think that is where your getting mixed up.

          hehe, yeah i noticed that, and changed it, but unfortunately i'm still not getting the results i want. I'm trying to use toggle on the switches, and see if that works.

            After the door has opened/closed change the variable?

              So this is my logic behind this, getting it too actually apply in kismet has been a bit more difficult.

              Set up
              Room A - Trig1 ( Door 1) Trig 2- Room B - Trig 3 ( Door 2) Trig 4 - Room C

              While in Room B
              trigger 2 = true if door 1 & door 2 = true
              trigger 3 = true if door 1 & door 2 = true

              door 1 = true when door 2 is closed
              door 1 = false when door 2 is open

              door 2 = true when door 1 is closed
              door 2 = false when door 1 is open

                SO i had my airlock system finally working using Gates, saved the map and packages, loaded on home computer, and bam, it stopped working.

                Any Ideas why?
